How to Use a Red Light Mat at Home
Use a red light mat on a stable, appropriate surface with the controller, adapter, and protective eyewear specified for that product. Inspect the mat and cables, connect the system as instructed, choose a conservative session setting from the manual, and keep liquids away. After use, power down, disconnect, wipe as directed, and store without sharp folds.
01
Prepare the mat and space
Unfold the mat on a stable surface that matches the product instructions. Check the surface, mat, controller, connector, and adapter for visible damage before powering on. Keep the setup away from water, sharp objects, and places where a cable can become a trip hazard.
Use only the supplied or approved controller and power adapter. The current rePretty kit includes the mat, controller, adapter, protective eyewear, storage bag, and user manual.
02
Set up the session
Connect the components in the order shown in the manual. Wear the provided protective eyewear when the instructions call for it. Select a mode, level, and timer that stay within the product guidance rather than copying a protocol from an unrelated study.
The current rePretty Mat provides constant, 10 Hz, and 40 Hz modes, five levels, and timer choices from 10 to 90 minutes. Those controls describe the product; they are not a prescription for a health condition.
03
Power down and care for the mat
Turn the system off and disconnect power before cleaning or storage. Let the mat cool if needed, then wipe it using the care method in the manual. Do not soak the device or use unapproved chemicals.
Store the mat in a way that avoids sharp creases, crushing, or stress on the connectors. Contact support when cables, connectors, controls, or the mat show damage or abnormal behavior.
